Beachdog.com was formed in 1996 when Internet marketing was only beginning to take shape as a credible sales and advertising medium. Today, we are a leader in high performance marketing strategy for small businesses, as well as nonprofit and government organizations. With nearly 15 years of experience, we have the honor of working with over 400 clients annually.
Beachdog.com operates one office out of Long Beach, Washington and employs 5 people, for a total of just over 4 full-time equivalent positions. We are gratified to have created living-wage jobs in a rural and tourism-dependent location where these are not readily available.
Beachog.com has worked to extend our reach beyond the tourism-cycle dominant in the community in which we live. Roughly half of our client base is out of the local area and 80% of that out-of-state, making it possible for us to thrive year-round in a seasonally driven community. We heartily support strengthening our local economy through the purchase of goods sourced as close to home as possible, while selling products and services outside our region.
We embrace the idea of educating our clients in addition to providing them with services. We look for ways to offer choices about available and sustainable resources, whether it is cash, time, talent, connections, or tangible goods. Our single, unified focus is on improving the results of our clients’ efforts, and on delivering peace of mind. We do that through understanding their past experience, their customer base, and through our own knowledge of branding, collateral and online media.
Each member of our staff contributes time and talent to a number of community projects, causes, and other nonprofit endeavors, both during their time at work and on their own. The company supports these efforts in a number of ways, from flexible scheduling, to pro-bono time allocations, to discounted printing and services for employee-involved community projects.
Giving back to our community, and enjoying what we do, make up half of our company mission. We achieve these through a somewhat unconventional corporate structure, which has attracted high quality employees who share our passion for where we choose to live, our commitment to quality, and because we want to make a difference.
